We are sketch comedy group Adults. Come see our debut show at the Chemically Imbalanced Theater (1420 W. Irving Park Rd.) Thursdays at 10:30 through June 18th. The show stars Chris Bragg, Anthony Oberbeck, Mike Maltz, Joe Phillips, and Ann Tierney. Chris Bragg Chris Bragg is a writer, actor, improviser, director, and producer. He was a founding member of sketch comedy groups Grandma June's Sewing Circle, The Crazies, and Jack Smack. He is a graduate of the Second City Training Center's Writing, Acting, Beginning, and Conservatory programs. He also trained at iO Theater and was a member of the Harold them Hunter Family Crest. As an actor, he recently performed in “4Play” at the Theatre Building, and “These Are Malasian Singing Bees” at the Annoyance. He has also written several short plays. |
Anthony Oberbeck Anthony Oberbeck grew up in Central America and mid-Missouri. He has studied improvisation and sketch writing at iO and the Annoyance theatre. For a year and a half he played on the iO Harold team Hunter Family Crest. He's written and directed short plays and sketch comedy at the Annoyance theatre and the Playground, and currently improvises with house teams at the Playground and the Chemically Imbalanced Theatre. He loves doing all of this. He has big plans for Adults. |

Mike Maltz A Chicago native, Mike Maltz moved back home in 2007 after four years of living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he worked closely with Obie award winning, theatrical clown, Bob Berky. Since being back he has completed the improv training program at iO and most (what he could afford) of the Second City Conservatory program. You may have seen him do improv around the city with clubgroupteam, pH, or the iO Harold team, Hunter family Crest. If not, don’t sweat it. You can still see him at iO with his new team, Archimedes. |
Joe Phillips Joe Phillips was born and mostly raised in Denver, CO. His only professional acting work has been as an extra on the TV shows CSI:NY, Vegas and the films Bobby and Southland Tales. He has trained at iO and iO West, Second City and Second City LA. He had the honor of playing on the Harold team Hunter Family Crest and with Hogwash at the iO Theater. He also performed in Raucous Caucus and "These are Malaysian Singing Bees" (with Anthony and Chris) at the Annoyance Theater. |

Ann Tierney Ann Tierney hails from the Chicago area and is excited to be back performing sketch comedy in Chicago after spending several years in New York. She has a BA from Bradley University, and has studied and performed at Second City, the Annoyance, and ImproMelbourne in Australia. She has recentlybeen seen in the sketch revue “Sorry, I Panicked” at Donny's Skybox. |
Alex Fendrich - Director Adults director Alex Fendrich is a former Second City e.t.c. cast member and toured with SC around the country and beyond including a stint with the USO in Kuwait and Iraq. He performed with People of Earth at the iO theatre where he trained and now teaches. You can see him there on Sunday nights with 3033 (check it out). He directs tv commercials, short films and for the stage. |
